We are gathering memories of Hinxton Hall and need your help!

We need your help as we embark on a project to capture community memories of Hinxton Hall. Our aim is to enable our local community and others to explore the Hall and understand its importance to the area through history.

We would love to bring the Hall to life with historical references and any memories you may have of working, playing or events attended at the Hall or in the grounds.

Do you have these memories? Would you like to share your written or spoken words? Do you have pictures we could display? Would you like to be involved in this project? If the answer is yes, we would love to hear from you!

How to share your memories:

  • Email us at connectingscience@wellcomegenomecampus.org with stories and scanned photos by 28 February
  • Come and talk to us at one of the following Campus Open Saturdays: 1-4pm on 15 February or 21 March (you’ll need to register at http://bit.ly/OpenSat_HH )
  • Come along to an informal get-together at Hinxton Village Hall at 7pm on Wednesday 25 March

Got any questions? Give us a call on 01223 494896

We look forward to hear your stories and meeting you, and hope this project will add to enriching our local history.
